GELI’s Energy Computer™ platform consists of long-lived Li-ion battery technology and modules for power conversion, computation, communications and energy routing, which are all tied together by the Energy Operator System.

These components comprise a personal micro utility that can be networked with other Energy Computers via the GENI (Global Energy Network Interface) through Internet communications. This networking capability enables an open utility network, in which people who operate Energy Computers store and use energy from any source and exchange it using the existing grid infrastructure.
