Energy Computers™ provide anyone the tools to store, use, and exchange energy with others in an Energy Computer Network.
What is it?
The Energy Computer is a hardware/software platform for storing electricity and intelligently managing it. An on-board CPU and the Energy Operator System provide the computation and logic for managing power (kW) and energy (kWh). An application interface allows the exchange of information and energy with any energy-related hardware, such as appliances or other Energy Computers in the network. The power inputs (electricity) can come from any source — such as from a solar energy system or from the grid.
How is it used?
You operate an Energy Computer using local and web-based software applications that allow you to visualize energy flows, select energy sources, and recharge your storage modules. Any number of Energy Computers can be linked together to form a micro grid — the communications and energy storage technology necessary to manage and distribute energy in your network.
Who uses it?

- Homeowners use Energy Computers to integrate their solar-generated energy and grid energy in the most economical way.
- Construction contractors and emergency responders use Energy Computers integrated with PV as mobile energy systems to replace polluting generators and alleviate the burden of fuel logistics.
- Communities and utilities use Energy Computer networks to integrate renewable energy from residences and businesses onto the power grid.
- Green data centers use Energy Computers as backup power and to maximize the value of renewable and grid electricity.
