Energy Composer enables anyone — experts and non-experts alike — to participate in the design and build of a renewable energy system.

What is it?

Energy Composer is a web-based software application for you and your team to analyze, design, and manage your energy system. GELI’s database of economic data and unique data structures allow you to generate reliable reports, whether you’re planning a megawatt commercial facility or your own residential/commercial solar energy system. Built-in case scenarios and collaborative tools enable everyone to take part in evaluating the financial impact of energy system designs.

How is it used?

Login to GENI and go to the Energy Composer application. At setup, GENI presents a sequence of dialog boxes that lead you through the steps to explore your options. Through this process, you discover ways to make the existing building far more energy efficient and to plan for implementing a fully renewable system.

Who uses it?

• Energy system developers use the Energy Composer to facilitate the design and financing of a project, and, subsequently, to maximize revenue throughout the project‘s life cycle.
• Home-owners and businesses use Energy Composer to analyze the economic benefits of making modifications that improve their energy efficiency and to model the long-term benefits of purchasing a renewable energy system.
