The Internet of Energy at Grid-Interop 2011
Dr. Ryan Wartena will give an informal talk at Grid-Interop (Dec. 5 – 8 in Phoenix, AZ) on the technologies for building the Internet of Energy. The Internet of Energy is a new paradigm in which known amounts of energy can be very efficiently dispatched using software for economic modeling and long-lived energy storage integrated into the grid. The talk is aimed at product designers, system integrators, and consultants who want to better understand how emerging standards for grid interoperability may change the grid infrastructure in the future. GELI’s Energy Computer debuts at Solar Power International 2011
At SPI 2011, Growing Energy Labs Inc, in partnership with Heart Transverter, introduces its platform for networked energy storage in the residential solar market. Called the Home Energy Computer, the platform integrates long-lived Li-ion battery storage and the innovative Heart Transverter power module into a personal micro utility for the home or business.
